After much deliberation, the race of the meet was given to Avery Ferrero in the 5-6 Girls 25 Breaststroke. Last week Avery dropped almost 3 seconds in the 25 breaststroke to earn a qualifying time, and then dropped an additional three seconds this week to earn a blue ribbon in the 25 breaststroke.

The female swimmer of the meet award was given to Madison “Birthday Girl” Lucas. While celebrating her 11th birthday, Madison dropped time in all three of her races, including a 7.5 second drop in the IM she begged to get taken out of. In addition to these amazing time improvements she also earned an individual first place ribbon in the 9-10 Girls 50 Breaststroke, and helped the 9-10 Mixed Freestyle Relay team narrowly come away with a victory!
The male swimmer of the meet award was given to Austin Bradford. Austin has been very sore lately thanks to high school cross country practice, but even though his legs are constantly in pain he can always be found with a smile on his face at swim practice. Austin had three huge time improvements, and earned 3 first place ribbons in the 13-14 age group.

Way to go Woodbridge!
